Creative contest entitled “The color of the pain” ahead to the 100th anniversary of the Armenian Genocide. "Endanik" youth creative center of the Ministry of Science and Education of the Republic of Armenia  has  organized a creative contest entitled “The color of the pain”.
The contest is dedicated to the 100th anniversary of the Armenian Genocide.
The contest is open to following two age groups, for 10-14 and 15-18-years-old teenagers.
Works of different styles of applied-decorative art with the combination of different materials can be submitted.
The uniqueness of the idea and the technique of the realization of the project will be taken into account during the assessment.
Works will be received from 20 to 30 September 2015.

Creative contest “The color of the pain”
Dear boys, girls and the heads of educational institutions.  
"Endanik" youth creative center of the Ministry of Science and Education of the Republic of Armenia has organized creative contest entitled “The color of the pain”.
The contest is dedicated to the 100th anniversary of the Armenian Genocide.
The aim of the contest is:
To pay tribute to the victims of the Armenian Genocide through creative works.
To stimulate the creative thinking of the teenagers.
To develop the ability of cooperating, collaborating.
To keep awaken the national memory by presenting the black pages of the past of the Armenians.
To discover talented children.
The contest will give an opportunity to refer to the crime committed against the Armenians and will encourage the demand once more.

“Tragic pages of the past”
“Acknowledgment, recognition of the Genocide”
“A fair fight”
“My demand is one…”
“ We shall continue our fight”
“A bright future”
“ The Renaissance” 
The participants of the contest: 
The contest is open to the following two age groups, for 10 to14 and 15 to 18-years-old teenagers, who are Armenians or have Armenian roots, descent from Armenia, Mountainous Karabakh and the Diaspora.
Works of applied-decorative art (pottery, silversmithing, embroidery, wood carving, rug making, painting and so on) as well as works with the combination of different materials can be submitted.
 
Eligibility conditions:
The maximum format of the works is 40 X 60 cm
The maximum weight of works must not exceed 5 kgs.
Only such entries will be eligible for assessment that stick to the theme set for the contest.
Larger entries and entries lacking a proper label will be excluded. 
Only one entry is accepted from each participant.
Individual, as well as works done in groups are accepted.
Only original copies with filled application are accepted.
Application must be legible, written in Armenian, Russian or English.

Order of the contest organization:
Works will be received from 20 to 30 September 2015.
 The works will be assessed by the panel of expert judges, the priority, preference will be given to the works with the most creative approaches.
The winners of each age group will be awarded with first, second and third class prizes and diplomas.
Special prize will be given for the best creative thinking.
 
On 15 October 2015-results will be published at www.endanik.am and by different media outlets.
On 23 October 2015- exhibition of the best works, distribution of prizes and diplomas.
The exhibition will take place in 5/2, 11th Str., “Ani” district, Gyumri 3126, the Republic of Armenia, “Endanik” Youth Creative Center.
