2012-03-30 Friendship
English: Every year from March 15 to April 15, the Francophonie celebration is marked with great splendor and enthusiasm in Armenia. The "Entanik" Youth Creative Center and Gyumri State Craft School No. 4 also participated in the events organized within the framework of Francophonie in Gyumri. On March 20, another event dedicated to Francophonie was held at the "Entanik" Center on the initiative of group leaders V. Nahapetyan and M. Torosyan. The talented students performed a stage production titled "Debate of Colors" in enchanting French, demonstrating artistic presence, fluent delivery, correct intonation, and musical tones. The event aimed to bring together all Francophone institutions and strengthen Armenian-French friendly relations. Dance performances paired with French music brought new life and inspiration to the French and Armenian audience, opening up a simple, innocent children's world full of surprises where unity, solidarity, harmony, and friendship joined hands. Each performance was a unique creative puzzle embodying beauty. On March 24, an exhibition held in Gyumri Central Park presented the culture, traditions, and distinct characteristics of Francophone countries. Ambassadors and representatives of local self-government bodies were also present at the event. The "Entanik" Center displayed Armenian culture through handicrafts, paintings, and sculptures, while students of the dance group delighted the audience with accompanying dance numbers.
