Seminar-event titled "Every Armenian is Armenia"
The formation of the Armenian Army is the greatest achievement of our newly independent statehood. January 28 is perhaps a holiday for each of us, and the seminar-event titled "Every Armenian is Armenia" held at the center is a tribute to those sons of the Armenian nation who are the number one guarantor of the country's security and defense.
The event began with the entrance of the flag of the Republic of Armenia and a minute of silence to pay tribute to the memory of the heroes who fought and sacrificed their lives for the defense of the motherland's borders, as well as to their parents. The seminar titled "The Historical Path of the Armed Forces Passing Through Three Wars in Three Decades" was conducted by Ara Nakhshkaryan, a historian, participant in the Artsakh liberation struggles, and head of the Gyumri office of the Hamazkayin Armenian Educational and Cultural Foundation. He spoke about the formation of the army of the First Republic of Armenia, the shaping of the soldier's current moral image, the elevation of the army's role in society, and topics of patriotism. The speaker also shared reflections on unity in the defensive battles for the motherland, forging a spirit of stubborn struggle, and dedication to patriotism. Artistic performances were delivered by students of the center's music and martial arts clubs. The repertoire included works born during war years on the battlefield, performances that even today multiply the strength of the soldier's arm, educate the generation, and unite the nation. Military personnel, educators, parents, and club students attended the event. The head of the artistic department of the center noted in their speech: "The Armenian nation is strong primarily because it better understands both the price of peace and the meaning of war, and realizing all this, we will further strengthen our defensive citadel. In our motherland, we are all soldiers, regardless of profession, up to the supreme commander. We are a country-army preserving our peace and security, an ever-vigilant border guard and a nation-army ready for battle; therefore, the defense of the motherland begins with each of us working worthily, and the work taking place at the center is a testament to this confidence." The event titled "Every Armenian is Armenia" once again highlighted the selfless dedication of the defender of the motherland and the immortal memory of the heroes martyred for the fatherland, solemnly continuing the message of the heroic sons.
