SHOW YOUR VICTORY
From September 28 to 30, the “Show Your Victory” chess tournament was held at the “Ընտանիք” Children and Youth Creative Center of Gyumri under the Ministry of Education and Science of the Republic of Armenia. The tournament was attended by students from Gyumri Secondary Schools No. 11 and No. 40, “Photon” High School, as well as students of the Tigran Petrosian Chess School and the “Ընտանիք” Center. The majority of participants held third- or fourth-category chess qualifications.
The aim of the tournament was to develop the students’ logical thinking, intellect, orientation and cooperation skills, foster the desire to achieve victory, stimulate interest in chess, and provide opportunities for them to demonstrate their abilities.
For three days, the Center was filled with lively chess activity, followed closely by teachers, parents, and coaches.
The tournament was conducted in four stages according to the Olympic system. Each participant demonstrated their knowledge, willpower, flexibility of thought, and ability to make quick decisions in pursuit of the desired result.
Throughout the tournament, the participants maintained their enthusiasm and competitive spirit.
