An exhibition-event titled "Colours of satire in the palette of an art critic" was held in "Endanik" center, dedicated to the memory of the famous Gyumri satirist, artist and drum player Seryozha Karapetyan (Kuzhik). Students of painting, batik, dance, theater, drum and duduk groups participated in the exhibition-event. The exhibition-event opened with a brave performance by the students of the drum group, it was a tribute to the memory of the best drum player of the time Seryozhya Karapetyan. The students of the painting and batik groups, getting acquainted with the art of the satirist, artist Seryozha Karapetyan, studying his life, creative activity, role in the arena of satire, made paintings based on satirical miniatures. Arpine Manukyan, Kuzhik's granddaughter, made an opening speech at the exhibition-event. The latter presented the creative works done by the students, the features of the art critic's palette and the skills they mastered and applied. The students of drum, duduk and dance groups performed artistic performances. The funny stories of the life of the satirist Kuzhik were presented by the students of the theater art group in plays. The performances were also interesting conversations about the Alekpol stories of Kuzhik and satirists-actors Poloz Mukuch, Jgher Khachik, Tzitro Alek. The event was attended by members of the art critic's family; his daughters gave a speech of thanks and presented interesting facts from Kuzhik's creative world. The latter appreciated the works of the students and thanked the organizers of the event for keeping Kuzhik's memory alive and valuing his art. As a result of the exhibition-event, the students discovered Kuzhik Karapetyan as a satirist and as an art critic. At the end of the event, the directorate of the center wished the students creative ascension, valuing and preserving the culture and customs of Gyumri.The parents also expressed their appreciation; the latter emphasized the work of the group leader, the Armenian preservation activities and the inculcation of cultural values ​​among the students.
