“A Fairy Tale Is the Best Way to Educate a Person…”

On March 21, lovers and masters of this ancient art, recognizing the important role of puppet theatre in the development of the younger generation, gathered at the “Ընտանիք” Children and Youth Creative Center to celebrate International Puppeteer Day.

The idea that “A fairy tale is the best way to educate a person” brought together the actors and puppeteers of the theatre group to stage “The Death of Kikos” by renowned children’s author Hovhannes Tumanyan.

The aim of the event was to strengthen the connection between theatre and young children, contribute to children’s aesthetic education, and help shape future theatre-loving audiences.

Remaining faithful to the essence of the folk tale, the young performers presented the story in Tumanyan’s rich literary language, using the actors’ skillful and original artistic interpretations.
