To make June 1 a memorable and meaningful day, the students of the “Ընտանիք” Children and Youth Creative Center under the Ministry of Education and Science took part in a variety of events.

During the first half of the day, at Gyumri’s Theatre Square, teenagers from the Center participated in the citywide celebration organized on the occasion of International Children’s Day. They performed dance and musical numbers and demonstrated their talent and creative abilities through drawing activities.

The festive atmosphere continued in the courtyard of the Center, where the event entitled “My Little Planet” brought together students from the institution’s various groups, as well as young children from preschools in the neighborhood and local residents.

The aim of the event was to turn Children’s Day into a celebration filled with joyful memories and wonderful impressions. A variety of activities were held in the Center’s courtyard, including chalk-drawing and painting competitions, sports competitions, and entertaining children’s games. The students also performed individual and group artistic numbers.

The patriotic songs performed by the little participants dressed as soldiers brought particular warmth and enthusiasm to the gathering.

S. Petrosyan, Deputy Director of the Center, congratulated the children on this brightest and most colorful celebration and wished them a carefree and peaceful childhood. She also expressed her gratitude to the Center’s teachers and parents for their significant contribution to the important mission of educating and raising a brave and courageous generation.

The event concluded with the presentation of prizes and certificates to the students who won places in the various competitions. Prizes were also awarded to the most active participants of the event.
