The “Yntaniq” Children and Youth Creative Center of Gyumri, under the Ministry of Education and Science of the Republic of Armenia, has expanded the scope of its activities by establishing professional training groups in various branches of arts and crafts in seven rural communities of Shirak Province and organizing a variety of cultural and educational events.

On November 9 and 10, exhibitions of works by the students of the “Yntaniq” Center’s painting group were once again held in two high-mountain rural communities of Shirak Province—Tsoghamarg and Torosgyugh—under the title “We Are Our Mountains.”

Through their thematic works, the teenagers expressed the knowledge, abilities, and skills they had acquired in painting.

The exhibition was attended by Artur Minasyan, Director of the “Yntaniq” Center; Arshak Arshakyan, Principal of Tsoghamarg School; Garik Hakobyan, Principal of Torosgyugh School; painters, educators, community residents, and students.

The exhibited works stood out for the students’ distinctive approaches and expressive messages. Their creative works reflected the beauty of their homeland, national values, the vivid and bright colors characteristic of Martiros Saryan’s art, as well as the teenagers’ own perceptions and feelings regarding the theme.

In their speeches, those present expressed their admiration and appreciation for the students’ unique creative works.

Director Artur Minasyan highly praised the students’ works, wished them continued creative success, encouraged them to broaden their intellectual horizons and engage in self-education, and urged them to continue creating new works of art.

Parents and school principals expressed their gratitude and appreciation to the Center’s administration. They emphasized the importance of making extracurricular education accessible to teenagers living in rural communities, contributing to the revitalization of cultural life in the communities, providing children with opportunities to spend their free time meaningfully, express themselves, and discover and appreciate their own abilities.
