
On April 29, the International Dance Day was celebrated at the "Entanik" center
The dance culture of humanity is very diverse, and the art of Armenian dance is not an exception. Dance has always been inseparable from the daily life of the Armenian people. Thanks to dance, singing and music, people made work more efficient and enjoyable. As a result, dances of different themes were born.
On April 29, the International Dance Day was celebrated at the "Entanik" center with a unique approach accompanied by folk and national dances. The artistic event entitled "Dance is the hidden language of the soul" was hosted by the head of the dance studio Mourad Torossian and the student Gor Minassian. The similar format was aimed at teaching and developing the stage culture of the students. In addition to conveying a sense of pride and inspiration to young dancers, the dance festival inspired them to feel the importance of national values through the language of dance. Each dance style was performed in a unique way by the students, emphasizing their cultural significance.
The guests present, as well as the parents, were impressed by the artistic performances of the students. The hard work over the months of the head of the workshop allowed the parents to see the progress made by their children in the art of dance. At the end of the event, the deputy director of the center, Svetlana Petrossian, and the artistic director, Eliza Frangoulian, emphasized the importance of the art of dance in the preservation and dissemination of Armenian culture, as well as the competent presentation of the peculiarities of stage culture. The parents also shared their impressions, appreciating the cultural preservation mission of the dance workshop and the development of the creative abilities of the students.
The students of the dance workshop will also present their artistic performances at the annual festival "Paratun" organized by the National Union of Dance Art of Armenia in June.
