On March 26, in "Endanik" Youth Creative Center of the Ministry of Education and Science was held an event entitled "Moving Photos", dedicated to cinematography inventors, Lumiere Brothers and Francophonie.
The aim of the event was to emphasize the role of short films in the formation of the younger generation, to develop and enrich the vocabulary of the students, to promote the spreading of French, to create an interest and love for the French language and French art.
The event was attended by lecturers, educators, French speakers, parents and students.
The event began with cinematographic inventors by presenting the Lumier Brothers' activity and showing the relevant video. The students presented the history of cinematography through the performance. The image of little "inventors" was convincing and inspiring. They were able to move the audience to the 19th century. It was also impressive to see the 10 films created by the Lumia Brothers in parallel with the commentary. The French-speaking teenagers gave important information to the audience in the honor of inventors of cinematography.
During the event, student of painting group Vahram Hamparian, embodying the famous French artist Arno Kughle de Vghezhilin painted Lumiere brothers portraits and kindly donated it to French group.
The event concluded the student of music group Gregor Galajyan performing Charles Aznavour 's "Life and Love" song in French.
