"Endanik" is full of breath of Teryan's poetry

The next cultural stop within the framework of  "Endanik on  the Wheels" educational and cultural program was in Gandza, in the house-museum of the great poet Vahan Teryan's native village. The students got acquainted with the poet's way of life inside the walls of the house. They also walked around the exhibition hall built next to the restored house, where the presented documents, manuscripts and photos depict Vahan Teryan's life and creative path. The exhibition preserves editions of the poet's works in Armenian, Russian, and in other languages, music notes written with his texts. The 7 most important stages of Vahan Teryan's life are presented in the exhibition hall. The years of his childhood, his student life at the Lazarian Seminary, his meetings with Hovhannes Tumanyan and Avetik Isahakyan, his translation, scientific, social and political activities, as well as the last days of his life in Orenburg. St. Karapet Church is also in the museum complex. It was built in 1859 by Teryan's grandfather, Fr. Grigor. The students of "Endanik" Children and Youth Creative Center received a blessing from the priest in the church. Educational visits only help to connect the students to the roots of Armenian culture, and in this regard "Endanik" Children and Youth Creative Center has developed clear programs and map steps.
