On May 10, in Aslamazyan Sisters’ House Museum Picture Gallery an exhibition of Miniature works has been opened by miniature group’s students of ″Endanik″ Youth Creative centre of the Ministry of SE. The exhibition will run until May 14.
The goal of the program ″Aslamazian sisters″ was introducing of museum samples to the students, representing of Gyumri’s painters impact on the city's spiritual and cultural life, to promote cultural life activation, to encourage the cooperation with cultural centers.
Before the opening of the exhibition, the students toured the museum revealing details on life and creation of Painters from Gyumri. They learned about Mary and Yeranuhi Aslamazyan sisters’ paintings, graphic and ceramic works. The opening ceremony of exhibition was attended by V. Vardanyan Culture and Sport Department Manager of Shirak regional administration, A. Mkrtchyan department head of Gyumri Municipality Culture and Youth Affairs , Priest Ter Nshan Panfyorove the headmaster of Shirak Diocese of the Christian Education Center, Aslamazyan Sisters House Museumheadmaster V. Ghukasyan, artists, parents, students. Museum headmaster expressed gratitude to Arthur Minasyan, headmaster of ″Endanik″ Center, to Vardevan Shamamyan the leader of miniature group for cooperation and contribution to the maintenance of cultural values of the younger generation, for forming their strive to be followers. Then attendees watched nearly 25 miniature works of 10-18 year old students, works that reflect the typical color shades of Aslamazan sisters. The guests highly appreciated the results of the students' creativity and performance skills. The authors of the best works were awarded diplomas by the representatives of Shirak regional council and Gyumri community municipality.
