CONTENTS
3D modeling is a computer program designed for three-dimensional design and precise modeling. It is suitable for creating both fine, precise models and large-scale objects, which can later be easily imported into other formats and processed in specialized editors. At the same time, Rhinoceros 3D is easy to use, intuitive, has a convenient and easily customizable interface, allows the creation of 3D models of any complexity while ensuring high construction accuracy, and provides broad opportunities for creating, editing, and transforming NURBS objects. With its help, numerous beautiful jewelry designs and three-dimensional graphic objects can be obtained. During their studies, students become acquainted with the 3D program and its features, preparing them to perform design work using the computer-based three-dimensional program and to create competent designer developments. During teaching, they develop computer literacy, efficient time management, individual and team working skills, the realization of creative thought, initiative and entrepreneurial skills, and organizational abilities.
FORMS OF INSTRUCTION
Instruction is carried out through a combination of theoretical and practical classes. The club may include students admitted at different periods. Throughout the learning process, an individual approach is provided to each learner, including every newly admitted student. For the latter, appropriate thematic work is assigned, and the workflow, execution technique, and other details are explained.
During the studies, methods that develop cognitive activity and creative work are applied. Open classes, viewings of culturally themed films, educational visits, excursions, discussions, and similar educational and cultural events are held.
EXPECTED OUTCOMES
Within the framework of the program, learners must:
-
Know the general provisions of the Rhinoceros 3D computer program,
-
Perform design work, provide designer developments, and draw sketches,
-
Create three-dimensional models, determine the dimensions of a given object and the technical assignment,
-
Clearly understand the formats and main properties of three-dimensional files,
-
Obtain three-dimensional models of simple, medium, and above-medium complexity jewelry items,
-
Obtain stl and other formats from a designed 3dm format file,
-
Prepare the 3D model for printing.
