"Masters of Pen and Brush" cultural festival dedicated to the anniversaries of Isahakyan and Saryan

The program implemented on the initiative of the "Entanik" Youth Creative Center and with the support of the Ministry of Education, Science, Culture and Sports of the Republic of Armenia, dedicated to the 150th anniversary of Avetik Isahakyan and the 145th anniversary of Martiros Saryan—two brilliant masters of Armenian culture—concluded with a cultural festival titled "Masters of Pen and Brush." Educational and cultural organizations that participated in the "Masters of Pen and Brush" decorative-applied arts and painting creative competition featuring Saryan colors, announced within the framework of the program, were present at the festival. More than 45 organizations and around 250 creative students from educational and cultural institutions in the high-altitude and border regions of the republic participated in the competition. According to the competition results, the representatives of Goris, Merdzavan, and Yerevan were recognized as the creators of the top three individual works; institutions from Tavush, Lori, and Yerevan were named authors of the best group works; and the honorary Grand Prix award was bestowed upon thirteen-year-old Mariam Mikaelyan, a student at Vanadzor Basic School No. 16. The prize winners were awarded certificates of honor, cups, and Holy Bibles, while all other participants received encouragement certificates. Their works were also exhibited. Certificates of appreciation were presented to the institutions that contributed to the implementation of the program for their effective and close cooperation. The festival was accompanied by artistic performances, which also featured groups from the educational, cultural, and youth centers of Akhalkalaki and Ninotsminda. During the event, Artur Minasyan, Director of the "Entanik" Center, emphasized in his speech the educational and developmental significance of the program, speaking about the steps taken, achievements, and the expansion of cultural cooperation, while highlighting the role of such programs in the aesthetic education, preservation of national values, and self-expression of the young generation. Directors and representatives of participating institutions also expressed their gratitude and appreciation to the center's leadership, emphasizing the significance of the program's mission and its vital role in the spiritual and cultural development of adolescents and youth. According to them, this initiative united youth from various regions and communities, creating a platform for creative contact, exchange of experience, and cultural communication. An educational tour was organized for active participants of the program to the Avetik Isahakyan House-Museum, the Gallery of Mariam and Eranuhi Aslamazyan Sisters, and Yereruyk Basilica, which became a unique lesson in patriotism and aesthetic education. The "Masters of Pen and Brush" program became a symbolic bridge for recognizing national culture, artistic education for youth, and creative unity, bringing together young creators from the regions of Armenia and Javakheti while strengthening intercultural ties between generations.
