“Gyumri in the Colors of the Aslamazyan Sisters” Exhibition at the Aslamazyan Sisters Gallery

An exhibition entitled “Gyumri in the Colors of the Aslamazyan Sisters”, featuring works by students of the painting group at the “Endanik” Children and Youth Creative Center, opened at the Mariam and Yeranuhi Aslamazyan Sisters Gallery.

During the preparatory phase of the project, the students visited the gallery to learn about the paintings, graphic works, and ceramics of the Aslamazyan sisters, exploring the thematic, conceptual, and artistic features of the works on display.

Inspired by the Aslamazyan sisters’ art and their distinctive color palette, the students created their own depictions of Gyumri, drawing on their creative visions and individual approaches. The paintings created in the gallery courtyard were presented in the format of an exhibition and discussion, giving the students an opportunity to share their ideas, color choices, and creative approaches.

The exhibition marked the culmination of the students’ creative work, bringing together the appreciation of art, personal artistic experience, and the recognition of cultural heritage.

The project helped develop the students’ creative thinking, aesthetic sensibility, and self-expression skills. It also fostered greater interest in and appreciation of cultural heritage, while strengthening cooperation between cultural institutions.
