Learners' age group: 10 to 18 years old Number of learners: Not less than 7 Duration of classes: 1 class period is 45 minutes, 8 class periods per week Duration of study: Three years
CONTENTS
In the club, students receive basic knowledge about clothing and national costume (taraz) modeling, as well as pattern making. They learn how to use sewing machine equipment and become familiar with the application of materials and auxiliary accessories. They study clothing styles and acquire skills in performing simple and complex types of stitching. They learn to draw sketches while maintaining human body proportions. Based on the acquired theoretical and practical professional knowledge, they learn to sew garments of various shapes and styles.
Armenian ornaments and patterns will be applied in harmony with the clothing design style. Students will acquire the ability to repair and redesign clothing.
By studying clothing design as a branch of decorative and applied arts, students will reinforce their professional knowledge, skills, and abilities while preserving national aesthetic values.
FORMS OF INSTRUCTION
Instruction is carried out in group and individual formats through a combination of theoretical and practical classes.
Open classes, fashion shows, and educational visits to museums, art galleries, and sewing workshops are conducted, along with participation in international and republican competition-festivals.
EXPECTED OUTCOMES
Within the framework of the program, learners must:
