The program "The Strength of the Armenian: Aznavour-100" was implemented in Akhaltsikhe, the birthplace of the paternal roots of the century’s singer-poet, Charles Aznavour

On the legendary Armenian’s birthday, the 100th anniversary of his birth, the educators and students of"Endanik" center, along with the youth and cultural-educational centers of Akhaltsikhe and Akhalkalaki, paid tribute to him at the 13th-century Rabati Fortress in Akhaltsikhe, which is considered a symbol of the city. At the center of the fortress, a Hollywood star shines in honor of the great Armenian. Next to the star, a commemorative stone crafted by "Endanik" center's silversmithing group was also placed as a tribute of gratitude.

At the fortress, the students of the ""Endanik" center's artistic groups performed musical works, and the hand-crafted works of the applied arts groups were also displayed. The nature surrounding the fortress created an interesting color palette, and a youth forum was held on the theme "Charles Aznavour: The Singer-Poet of the Century." The students actively participated in the forum's Q&A session, through which they were informed about Aznavour's life and legacy.

Historian Aram Simonyan also shared fascinating information about the cultural bridge between the two countries over decades, speaking about Aznavour's paternal roots and the vast cultural legacy he left in the arts. The young participants, immersed in nature, presented Aznavour's chansons, poems, and musical performances, once again highlighting the French-Armenian singer’s role in preserving Armenian culture. Through the spirit of Aznavour, the participants connected with the world of the great philanthropist and National Hero’s cultural and creative achievements. The forum concluded with a collective Armenian dance.

The teenagers then visited the Pucha Jaghali neighborhood of Akhaltsikhe, where Charles Aznavour’s paternal home once stood. The house is now occupied by the Danielyan family, who shared stories about what the Aznavour family’s home was like before they moved in and what has been preserved from the noble family.

The meeting-discussion at the Akhalkalaki Cultural-Educational and Youth Center concluded with a performance of an Aznavour song by Vladimir Manasyan, a soloist of the academic vocal department of "Endanik "center, who had been displaced from Artsakh and sought refuge in Armenia. He was accompanied by Svetlana Stepanyan, a pianist and educator, also originally from Artsakh. The event, dedicated to the cultural bridge between Armenia, Artsakh, and Javakhk, and titled "The Strength of the Armenian: Aznavour-100," aimed to encourage regional cooperation, the development of individuals shaped by universal human values and patriotic ideas, and to honor the dedication of the internationally renowned French-Armenian singer, who unconditionally devoted himself to his homeland. This goal was undoubtedly achieved.
