CONTENTS

Students of the miniature painting club study Armenian decorative art, portraiture, composition, color techniques, and drawing. They perform creative work by combining and preserving the styles of Armenian medieval miniature painting schools, and get acquainted with the implementation stages of the miniature painting process. During the course, students draw still lifes and compositional works. By familiarizing themselves with Armenian miniature painting, decorative art, and portraiture, and by mastering painting and drawing, they will create creative works on various themes.

FORMS OF INSTRUCTION

The educational process is carried out through a combination of theoretical and practical classes. Group and individual works are performed. Open classes, master classes, readings, conversations, viewing of thematic materials, excursions, and exhibitions are organized. An individual approach is provided to newly admitted students during classes. End-of-year exhibitions are held where students present the knowledge and skills they have acquired.

EXPECTED OUTCOMES

Within the framework of the program, learners must:

• Know the stages of the miniature painting process, the styles of Armenian medieval decorative art, and the image creation technique,

• Copy a miniature while preserving the color solutions,

• Perform creative work by combining and preserving the styles of Armenian medieval miniature painting schools,

• Actively participate in art competitions, exhibitions, and festivals.
