An open class titled "Classification of Hairstyles."
How to choose the right hairstyle and how capable is the hairstylist in giving proper advice to the client about hairstyle selection? These and other important topics were discussed by the students of the center's hairstyling group during an open class titled "Classification of Hairstyles." The students talked about different types of hairstyles and their features, which are particularly important when considering the client's facial features, attire, and, of course, personal taste. Students of various ages skillfully presented the lesson through practical work.
While the clients were being prepared with their interesting hairstyles, some of the students spoke about hair care, coloring, the aesthetic features of hair dyes, and their potential harm. The students had studied the history of hair coloring and safety regulations for its use and demonstrated the application of dyes on both natural and artificial hair. The students, who had created interesting hairstyles, presented the choice of hairstyling and its correspondence to the client's facial features, and also discussed the professional skills they had acquired. The group leader, Lusine Esayan, involved the audience in the open class discussions through a Q&A session, and together, they uncovered the secrets of hairstyling.
The open class saw active participation from both the center's group students and their parents, who also shared their impressions.
"We are very happy that our children have gained so much knowledge. It is also the honor of the best specialist. Ms. Esayan has truly spared no effort in helping our children, passing on every piece of knowledge and secret. Today, we are confident that our children will leave the center with a wealth of knowledge," said the parents.
The center's educators also shared their opinions about the students' preparedness for the open class, emphasizing that the open class highlighted the skills of applying professional knowledge in practice, as well as the ability to pass on that knowledge.
