On November 16 the tutors and pupils of the “Endanik” youth creative center of Gyumri visited the community Musaler, in the frame of the program entitled “The 100th anniversary of the heroic battle of mount Musa”.The aim of the program was the introduction of the people from Musaler, the strengthening of the teenagers’ knowledge about the heroic battle of mount Musa, valuating their victory as a vivid manifestation of patriotism, selflessness and unity of Armenians. It was aimed to introduce the activities of “Endanik” center, organize Master classes on arts and crafts, stress the important role of the extracurricular education.
Both the pedagogues and pupils of center had a cognitive visit to the memorial of heroic battle of mount Musa, got acquainted with interesting facts and details about the heroic battle. The busts of an Austrian writer Franz Werfel and French admiral Louis Dartizh, who were glorified rebellious sons of mount Musa, arouse feelings of reverence and bow among the students.
Due to the exhibition of hand-made works done by the pupils of the center in the secondary school, named after Franz Werfel, people from Musaler got acquainted with the activity of “Endanik” center. One-day practical courses were realized by the tutors and pupils of the center for arousing interest towards different branches of arts and crafts and for their spread and preservation. The pupils of the school, in their turn, expresses their gratefulness with their inspiring songs and poetry.
The deputy director of “Endanik” center Svetlana Petrosyan awarded the director of the secondary school named F. Werfel with diploma and souvenir for collaboration and active participation in the program.
The heroic battle of mount Musa is the vivid proof of the united victorious national description of the Armenians.
