From 22 of February to 1 of March in ‘’Endanik’’ Youth Creative Center was organized the event entitled “Talking Books" devoted to the International Native Language Day in ‘’Endanik’’ center. The aim of the event was to present the importance of the native language in the preservation of Armenian nation, to present rare read writers' works in the audio version, to contribute to the formation of teenager’s literary-musical taste, to develop their intellectual level, to awaken love for reading among the students. The participants were students from the English and Computer Design groups from ‘’Endanik’’ center. Members of the Writers' Union of Shirak Region, librarians from the Regional Library, professors, teachers, parents and pupils of different groups attended to that event. During two-day hearings the students listened to the "History of Avarayr" V. Ananyan, "Hunter judgment," Khachik Dashtents "Fayton Alec" and Hrachya Kochar "Teacher,"’’ talking works ‘’, after it there were group discussions and analyzes on the hearings. On March 1 was the final quiz entitled ‘’Armenian language is Armenians’ house ’’, the winning teams were awarded with diplomas and prizes. The event promoted to the importance of strengthening of the mother tongue among adolescents, making their grouping work skills as well as awakening the interest in reading. After the event, the questionnaires completed by participants, their requests and proposals showed that it served its purpose.
