From May 28 to June 1, the staff and students of ″ Endanik″ Youth Creative Centre of the Ministry of SE under the direction of headmaster Arthur Minasyan held ″ May Victories ″ regular program. The aim of the program was to get acquainted heroic episodes of Shushi liberation, to assess the role of the Armenian soldier in the formation of the national army and in establishing an independent state, to strengthen the sense of teenagers’ national dignity and their military-patriotic upbringing, to highlight the factor of unity as a guarantee of victory.
In the framework of the program professional orientation classes were held in the border communities of NKR at which the most enthusiastically participation had the students of secondary school of Khnatsakh community after A. Avagyan and from secondary school number 5 of Chartar community of Martuni region. The schoolchildren were engaged in practical workshops on national craft and art for the first time, during which they showed great interest and enthusiasm. ″There are many visits to the school at different levels, but at this level, that a meeting is creative and cultural, it is the first time. What kind of satisfaction and joy to children approached and asked when they would come again. Pupils' assessment on today's event is greater than ours. Such meetings are often needed especially at our school, which is located at a distance from settlements and, first of all, on the border ″, - mentioned Slavik Arzumanyan, headmaster of secondary school No. 5 in Charartar. Community teenagers expressed their desire to deepen their knowledge, to master the performance techniques in the already preferred professions; for further engage in relevant activities in their communities. Artsakh and Gyumri teenagers expressed their impressions and wishes also on the poster of the May triple holidays, which became a symbol of unity and strengthening of friendly relations. The joint work of teenagers ended with a joint dance, with the expectation to meet again. By the headmaster of ″ Endanik″ centre A. Minasyan the hosted directors, educators and participating teenagers of professional orientation classes were awarded with diplomas, souvenirs and badges, and teaching books to institutions libraries. An arrangement was reached with educational institutions to support to the opening vocational training groups in communities. In collaboration with the Women's Council of the NKR Defense Army, ″ Endanik″ centre performed a two-day concert in Shushi and at the military unit of the Defense Army of Martuni region with the participation of Gyumri young award-winning singers Karen Atoyan, Kim Grigoryan, Serob Harutunyan, Sevak Khachatryan. The event was attended by Mayor of Shushi Artsvik Sargsyan, representative of NKR National Assembly Margarita Tharyanian, head of the department of culture of Shoushi region Anahit Yesayan, deputy commissar of the military council, major David Hakobyan, headmaster of youth creative centre Gohar Margaryan, Ter Andreas Tavadyan priest, teachers, young people, who welcomed the idea of implementing the program in Artsakh. ″Dear guests of Gyumri ‘s ″ Endanik ″ Center, dear headmaster A. Minasyan, today I am pleased to welcome you as Mayor of Shushi , which had the honor of the second historic-cultural city in Transcaucasia, today the city is glad to receive from Armenia, our Armenians from Diaspora, " said mayor of Shushi in his speech. The military-patriotic songs and dance performances gave the audience untold excitement."Shushi is the cultural heart of Artsakh and Gyumri is the same for Armenia. You have come today to unite these two hearts with your lively songs, dances, your warmth; your love is conveyed to us. Glorify the mother who has entrusted her little boy to come to Artsakh and go to the 1st line and inspire Armenian soldier with his song," noted Anahit Esayan in his speech.
The students and teachers of the "Endanik" center were warmly welcomed at the military unit. The soldiers listened to the concert with great enthusiasm, sang and danced with students. Sergeant Garik Arakelyan, a participant of the April 4-day war, expressed gratitude on behalf of his friends, shared with his impressions. "We are very grateful to you for your being with us, supporting us in everything. This is very important for us. Our oldiers who have passed a new service, inspired by similar events, which raises their moral and psychological condition." At the end of the event, the pupils passed the small paintings to their native land defenders, prepared by the students of the Center's painting group, with good wishes. With the participation of officers and soldiers of the military unit was held a discussion on the theme of "The role of military education in the process of building the country's security and youth's future." Students of the "Endanik" Center also participated in the 1st June event organized by the Stepanakert municipality, giving joy to Artsakh ‘s children. Next memorable meeting of the center's administration and students was with the deputy of the NKR National Assembly, with the chairman of the Women's Council of the Defense Ministry, Romela Dadayan and the council members. The headmaster of the Center Arthur Minasyan handed the encouragement letter of the Ministry of Education and Science to Romela Dadayan, Major General Vardan Balayan, Deputy Director of the Ministry of Defense, Colonel Gegham Gabrielyan, commander of the military unit # 36534 of the Defense Army, head Military School of Ministry of Defense K. Ivanyan , lieutenant colonel Vahram Hakobyan, Representative of NKR NA Staff, the "Battle Cross" 2nd degree NKR medalist Margarita Taranyanin for cooperation and contribution to the military-patriotic education of schoolchildren. Within the framework of the program, the group of "Endanik" center made cognitive visits to historical and cultural sites, Khor Virap, Noravank, Amaras, Gandzasar, monastery complexes of Dadivank, Shushi St. Ghazanchetsots church, Astvatsatsin church of Khnatsakh, Hunot gorge, which is considered a natural preserve, "We are Our Mountains" monument and in Khnatsakh community commemorated bowed flowers in memory of heroes fallen during Artsakh war. It was symbolic to meet with the Korean organization in Khor Virap. The Korean interested in Armenian culture included partisan patriotic songs and dance performances and interviews in their film about Armenia. By recognizing Artsakh, the pupils were strengthened in their motherland. They promised and considered their duty to be worthy followers of the martyred heroes’ work, to fight for the protection of the holy land and for the nation's eternal existence.
