The greatest achievement of the newly independent state is the formation of the Armenian Army. January 28 is perhaps a celebration for each of us, and the seminar-event titled "Every Armenian is Armenia" held in the center is dedicated to the young men who are the primary guarantors of the country's security and defense.
The event began with the entrance of the Armenian flag and a moment of silence to honor the memory of the heroes who fought for the protection of the homeland's borders and sacrificed their lives, as well as to pay respect to their parents.
The seminar, titled "The Historical Path of the Armed Forces through Three Wars in Three Decades," was led by historian, participant in the Artsakh Liberation Wars, and head of the Gyumri office of the Hamazkayin Armenian Educational and Cultural Foundation, Ara Nakhshkaryan. He spoke about the formation of the Armenian Army of the First Republic of Armenia, the moral character development of the soldier, the growing role of the army in society, and the theme of patriotism. The speaker also shared insights about the unity and spirit of perseverance forged in the defensive battles of the homeland, as well as the dedication to patriotism.
The artistic part of the event featured performances by the center’s music and martial arts groups. The concert program included pieces created during wartime, on the battlefield, and these performances continue to strengthen the soldier's arm today, educate the younger generation, and unite the nation.
The event was attended by military personnel, educators, parents, and group members.
In his speech, the artistic director of the center stated:
"The Armenian nation is strong primarily because it knows better the value of peace and the meaning of war, and realizing all this, we will continue to strengthen our defensive stronghold. In our homeland, we are all soldiers, regardless of profession, up to the highest commander. We are a country-army that protects our peace and security, a constantly vigilant border guard and battle-ready nation-army, and therefore, the defense of the homeland begins with the worthy work of each of us, and the work done in the center is a reflection of this confidence."
The event titled "Every Armenian is Armenia" once again highlighted the unwavering dedication of the defender of the homeland and the immortal memory of the heroes who sacrificed their lives for the homeland, as well as the worthy continuation of the heroic message of these brave warriors.
