The exhibition titled "Give Your Strength to the Homeland" opened at the "BenArt" workshop in Gyumri with a moment of silence to honor the memory of the heroes who lost their lives in the three wars in Artsakh.
Beniamin Poghosyan, the leader of the painting and pottery groups, introduced the heroes who sacrificed their lives for the homeland during the 44-day Artsakh war, their heroic deeds, and the heroic portraits of their fellow soldiers who were wounded during the war. Beniamin Poghosyan, who is also a participant of the 44-day Artsakh war, created a series of portraits titled "Eternal Present," depicting the fallen comrades. Alongside these, the students displayed their own creative works, portraying their vision of the homeland and the image of the Armenian soldier.
The exhibition featured a speech by the painter and artist Samvel Poghosyan, who spoke with the students about painting skills, serving the homeland, and shaping the character of patriotic young people.
Beniamin Poghosyan’s battle companions, who fought and were wounded, held a meeting with the students to strengthen their understanding of the sacred mission of defending the homeland and ensuring its security.
At the end of the exhibition, the students painted and wrote their dreams and wishes for a peaceful homeland on a banner with the title "Give Your Strength to the Homeland."
