Memories about Sardarapat, revive good feelings inside of a man, which can help in the way of the realizations of the homeland salvation. Sardarapat is the bright expression of the unanimous will and nationwide united combat of the Armenians. It became the apical crown of the golden chain of the heroic struggles and feats of the Armenians.
About 45 pupils of the center visited to the national museum of the Armenian ethnography and liberation struggle, to the memorial of Sardarapat, to the church of Saint Mesrop Mashtots.
The teenagers shared with their impressions and gained knowledge with their peers, the film screening and round table discussion had been organized, the contest of essay had been declared under the following title “We put our sword into the sheath with the glory”.
The range of the events was aimed to promote the development of the cultural, aesthetic, educational, patriotic upbringing of the teenagers, to help them to know and to assess the past, as the bases of the present and future.
The end of the program took place in the “Endanik” center of Gyumri, in the rooms of which you could see the unique, pleasing creations of the mind and hand of the pupils, which were like the pieces of museum. The pupils of the center received awards and certificates for the best sample-works.
The Erkrapah volunteer union of Gyumri awarded the director of “Endanik” youth creative center A. Minasyan and vice director of educational activities S. Petrosyan with diplomas.
