What crops had grown in the Armenian fields,
We can hardly say.

The Armenian womb was sacredly fertile,
A child was born in Dsegh of Lori…
On February 19th in “Endanik” youth creative center of Gyumri of the Ministry of Science and Education of the Republic of Armenia started the events dedicated to 146th anniversary of the great Armenian writer Hovhannes Tumanyan and events of the day of book donating.
The aim of the events was to awaken love towards reading, to come in contact not only with values of past, but also to be attentive towards the modern literature and art.
The advice of the feast was presented by the performance of the famous fairy tale of H. Tumanyan, entitled “Unlucky Panos”. The speech of the pupils of the group of theatrical art was simple but not primitive, and the reason of it is not the thinness of mind and emotions, but the crystal purity and clarity of thinking.
The attendees mentally moved to the world full of childhood dreams, where the heroes of the fairy tales, whom children’s writer Tumanyan gave soul and spirit were living under one roof.
The “Endanik” center entertained the children of the primary schools of the district. The children of the primary school “Red Hat” warmly inspired the actors of the heroes of the fairy tale.
The events were closed with beautiful ceremony of book donating.
Every anniversary of the writer becomes the vivid evidence of the popularity of the writer.
