“Craft Is Quality, Art Is Content”

On May 20, the “Quick Hands” event-competition was held at the “Yntaniq” Children and Youth Creative Center of the Ministry of Education and Science of the Republic of Armenia. The event was organized by students of the “Hairdressing Art” group.

The aim of the event was to showcase the students’ professional hairdressing skills.

The young hairdressers created hairstyles in various styles to match the outfits of their “models.” During the competition, attendees were introduced to the history of the development of hairdressing art. The participants presented sayings and poems about craftsmanship, while students from the singing and dance groups performed musical and dance numbers.

The students expressed their perceptions of beauty through the hairstyles they created. The festive hairstyles were evaluated by a jury, and the three best hairdressers were awarded certificates of merit.
