Francophonie at the “Yntaniq” Center: Film and Video Screenings under the Title “Towards France”

From March 12 to April 11, as part of Francophonie, film and video screenings entitled “Towards France” were held at the “Yntaniq” Children and Youth Creative Center under the Ministry of Education and Science.

The event was attended by students of the center’s French language group, university students, lecturers from Shirak State University, and members of Francophone clubs and organizations.

Through the French feature films “Long Live France!”, “The Name”, and “Welcome”, as well as videos under the title “The Culture of France”, participants became acquainted with the customs, daily life and lifestyle of different regions of France, French names and dialects, as well as France’s landmarks, music, cinema, fashion, and cuisine. To make the topics more accessible, they were accompanied by Armenian translations and explanations.

As part of Francophonie, discussions and analyses were regularly organized. Sharing their impressions, participants noted that the event provided an opportunity not only to deepen their language skills, but also to discover the beauty of the French language and promote the spread of Francophonie.
