
Hundreds of students, chess fans and chess champions joined the online event.
Vahag Melik-Sargsyan, a student of the chess workshop of the children's creative center "Entanik", succeeded in the first Pan-Armenian chess tournament organized jointly with the Armenian Virtual University of AGBU (UVA) and the Armenian Chess Academy.
The large-scale virtual tournament, in which about 520 chess fans from 36 countries around the world took part, was held from June 8 to June 26 on the interactive educational platform UVA. The geography of the participants was quite wide: North and South America, Europe, Asia, Oceania, the Middle East, Africa, Armenia.

During the tournament, participants had the opportunity to follow UVA’s online multimedia chess courses, take online chess lessons with Armenian chess champions to develop their chess skills and prepare for matches.
We congratulate Vahag Melik-Sargssian, a student of the center’s chess workshop and his teacher Svetlana Petrossian. We wish them new great platforms and victories.
