Eternal glory and reverence to Armenian mothers.

The Gyumri “Yntaniq” Children and Youth Creative Center under the Ministry of Education and Science of the Republic of Armenia held a series of events dedicated to the Month of Motherhood and Beauty from March 13 to April 12, both at the Center and in the Shirak Province communities of Jrarat, Basen, and Yerazgavors.

The events entitled “Spring Is Love,” held at the “Yntaniq” Center on April 11, and “Mother Is the Sun of Our Home,” held at Yerazgavors Secondary School on April 12, took an unexpected turn. The Center’s students transformed every part of the events into heartfelt messages addressed to the mothers of Armenian soldiers, emphasizing the unique qualities of these women and their invaluable role in instilling noble patriotic values in their children.

Both at the Center and in the community, the events began with a minute of silence as a gesture of respect and reverence for the brave sons who fought relentlessly in the current Artsakh war and fell a hero’s death.

The participants reflected on Armenian women heroes from different periods of history, including Princess Parandzem of Syunik, Mother Sose, and others who, awakened by the awareness of the need to preserve their homeland’s existence and security, set aside their personal grief and the role of the mourning mother to become selfless and courageous patriots and warriors who fought alongside their sons and husbands, considering these values more important than their own lives.

The teenagers also paid tribute to the Armenian mothers who descended from these heroic women for giving birth to and raising heroic soldiers who, by shedding their precious blood for peace, defend the lands inherited from our ancestors and the borders of our homeland.

The inspiring poems, military-patriotic dances, and musical performances presented during the events deeply moved the audience.

The students of the Center’s clothing design group expressed the image of a resilient, fearless, and creative Armenian woman through the dresses they designed.

Eternal glory to you, gentle yet fighting Armenian mothers, defenders of our sacred land! Your example will continue to inspire and educate generations to come. May your courage, bravery, wisdom, and love give strength to the Armenian soldier.
