Concert Entitled “Armenian Folk Dance-Songs and Rhythms”

The aim of the event was to highlight the value of Armenian folk music, teach the students Armenian dance-songs and rhythms, appreciate Armenian folk songs and music, and introduce rhythmic melodies accompanied by the duduk and dhol.

The students of the music groups presented the history of the origins of the Armenian national musical instruments—the duduk and the dhol. Each piece performed by the students playing the duduk and dhol was impressive in its sound and performance.

The students enthusiastically performed various traditional dance-songs. The audience listened to their performances with great pleasure and expressed their appreciation with enthusiastic applause.
