
Un événement intitulé "Aigles de la paix" dédié au 28e anniversaire de la formation de l'armée arménienne
"Don't raise a glass to me, but continue my work." Monté Melkonian
On January 31, Gyumri State Technical College N4, in cooperation with the children's creative center "Entanik", held an event called "Eagles of Peace" dedicated to the 28th anniversary of the formation of the Armenian army and to Monte Melkonian, the legendary commander, the national hero of the RA.
The honored guests of the ceremony were the headquarters of the military unit N of the Gyumri garrison, representatives of the mobilization preparation service of the regional administration, parents of conscripts, soldiers-students of the college who are on vacation.
The purpose of the event was to assess the role of the Armenian army as a guarantor of statehood and independence, to promote the patriotic education of adolescents, to fulfill the sacred task of defending the Motherland.
The event was started with the solemn introduction of the RA State flag, accompanied by the military unit's brass band.
In the first solemn part of the event, Knarik Aharonyan, Director of the Gyumri State Technical College N4, congratulated on the 28th anniversary of the formation of the Armenian Army. On the occasion of the day, a letter of thanks was handed over to the military unit N of the Gyumri garrison, in the person of Colonel Masis Hovsepyan, for cooperation with the educational institution, for promoting the military-patriotic education of young people. The conscripts of the educational institutions were also awarded for maintaining the honor of the institution, for exemplary military discipline and professional training.
In the second part of the event, numerous congratulations were addressed to the powerful and efficient Armenian Army, the role and capabilities of the Armed Forces were presented, the heroic image of Monte Melkonian, the ideological torchbearer of the liberation struggle, as an indisputable guarantee of victories and successes. The students performed inspiring dances and patriotic songs.
"It is a great duty to perform military service in the army, and in addition, performing military service in the victorious Armenian Army requires responsibility and honor," the future soldiers said. They promised to continue the example of heroes, to fight for the peace and security of the Armenian people and native borders.
Little "Monte" who are growing up in both educational and cultural institutions, presented flowers to the parents of the students who were in military service. They addressed them with words of thanks for giving birth to courageous Armenians who serve the homeland with unwavering devotion and majesty.
The event was concluded with the victorious dance "Berd" of the students of the dance studio of the center, as a symbol of the indefectibility of the Armenian Army and the unity of the Armenian people.
