“The Homeland Is Strong Through Its Devoted Sons” Military-Patriotic Summer School for Teenagers

The Syrian-Armenian refugee teenagers participating in the summer school program spoke about Armenian schools operating in Syria, the lifestyle and daily life of the Armenian community, as well as its traditions and customs. They briefly presented traditional Syrian dishes and performed one of the most popular Armenian dances among the Armenian communities of Syria.

Through an engaging discussion organized by seminar facilitator Anush Mkrtchyan, the summer school participants learned about the lifestyle of their compatriots who had lived in Syria and the reasons that prompted them to relocate to Armenia.
