Event titled ʺMemorial to my motherʺ

The event entitled “Memorial to my mother” dedicated to the 105th anniversary of Hovhanness Shiraz and the Annunciation Feast was held on April 11 at the “Endanik” children’s creative center with the participation of students of the ceramic and English workshops.
The purpose of the event was to honor mothers who gave birth to heroes, to consider the importance of the role of Armenian women in the process of preserving the family and to present the symbolism of the Annunciation Feast.
The center’s management, teachers, parents and students were present at the evening. The event began with the choreographic staging of the center’s dance workshop. The little ones symbolized the first flowers of spring: snowdrops, which announce the advent of spring.
During the evening, through the poems of Hovhanness Toumanian, the students transmitted the gifts in the maternal world, summarizing the goodness and the miracle, which consists of love and tenderness, patience, serenity and peace.
The interpretations of the students of the singing and dancing workshops made the evening more nourished and harmonious.
In the second part of the event, the students presented the symbolism of the Annunciation feast, which is the feast of the Holy Virgin and all mothers. The Gospel story about Mary, Virgin of the Annunciation staged by the teenagers was impressive.
The prayers pronounced by the lips of the little ones embodying the heavenly angels were also impressive.
Addressing Mary, Virgin of the Annunciation, the students asked for the health of their mothers, their families and for the serenity and peace of the Armenian world.
At the end of the event, those present admired the exhibition of the manual work of the students of the ceramics workshop.
