"Dedicated to the 100th Anniversary of the Heroic Battles of Musa Dagh and Sardarapat"

Ahead of the "100th Anniversary of the Heroic Battles of Musa Dagh and Sardarapat"... Starting July 14, the "Entanik" Youth Creative Center of the Ministry of Education and Science of the Republic of Armenia carried out a series of events under the program titled "Ahead of the 100th Anniversary of the Heroic Battles of Musa Dagh and Sardarapat," in which schoolchildren, educators, artists, and others from Shirak Province participated. Sardarapat: remembrance rekindles good feelings through emotional experience in a person's soul, which can serve new achievements for the salvation of the homeland. Sardarapat is a bright expression of the unanimous will of the Armenian people and their nationwide united struggle. It became the crowning achievement of the golden sequence of the Armenian people's heroic struggles and deeds. As part of the program, 45 students from the center made an educational visit to the National Museum of Armenian Ethnography and History of the Liberation Struggle, the Sardarapat Memorial Complex, and the St. Mesrop Mashtots Church. Following the visit, the teenagers shared their impressions and acquired knowledge with their peers; a film screening and a round-table discussion were organized, and an essay competition titled "We Sheathed Our Sword with Glory" was launched. The series of events aimed to foster the development of cultural, aesthetic, educational, and patriotic upbringing among youth, encouraging them to recognize and value the past as the foundation of the present and future. The program concluded at the "Entanik" Center of Gyumri, where original, eye-pleasing creations of the students' minds and hands were displayed with a captivating presence, resembling museum pieces. For the best work samples, the students were awarded prizes and certificates of appreciation. Director of the "Entanik" YCC A. Minasyan and Deputy Director for Educational Work S. Petrosyan were awarded certificates of honor by the Yerkrapah Volunteer Union of Gyumri. Seda Hakobyan
