“Yntaniq Center”: Open Concert by the Singing Group Ahead of the New Year and Christmas Holidays
On December 21, an open concert by the students of the “Yntaniq” Children and Youth Creative Center’s Singing Group was held at the “Mesropyan Alphabet” Reading Room. Ahead of the New Year and Christmas holidays, the young performers, led by their group instructor Arevik Tanasheyan, presented a selection of Armenian and foreign thematic and spiritual songs.
The event was attended by Karine Sahakyan, Head of the Department of Psychology at Shirak State University and Associate Professor of Psychological Sciences, lecturer and ethnographer Andranik Shahinyan, the administration of the “Yntaniq” Center, educators, parents, and students.
The performances of the newly established Singing Group impressed the audience and received high praise and positive feedback from the guests, the Center’s administration, and the parents, further inspiring the teenagers. The results of the teacher’s dedicated work were clearly evident.
“Both the conditions and the spiritual atmosphere, as well as the students’ outstanding performances, proved that every mother would wish to see her child standing there. They performed the spiritual songs so beautifully that, for a moment, I felt as though Jesus really was coming,” said ethnographer Karine Sahakyan.
