“Yntaniq” Center: Painting Exhibition Entitled “Me and My World”

On June 13, an exhibition entitled “Me and My World” was held in the exhibition hall of the “Yntaniq” Children and Youth Creative Center, featuring works by students of the Center’s painting group.

The aim of the event was to contribute to the development of the students’ creative thinking, discover talented participants, and encourage them by providing an opportunity to showcase their works.

The event was attended by sculptor Zohrab Mkrtchyan of Gyumri’s Oyunjyan Art School; painter Zhirayr Zakyan of the Gyumri branch of the State Academy of Fine Arts of Armenia; painters Mher Hovhannisyan and Sargis Mkrtchyan; students from various groups of the Center; teachers; and parents.

The students’ works stood out for their vivid use of color and the expression of flexible, creative thinking. Through works on such themes as “My Family,” “Harmony,” “The Children of the World Are Friends,” “Friendship,” and “My City,” the teenagers opened up their unique inner worlds to the audience, where their dreams and aspirations came together.

The exhibition was presented to the audience in an unconventional manner, featuring a distinctive display style. The artworks were mounted on cubes and other geometric shapes, which received particular appreciation.

On behalf of the administration, Deputy Director Svetlana Petrosyan presented certificates of appreciation to several students who participated in the exhibition for their creative abilities, vivid imagination in the use of color, and active participation.

At the end of the event, the guests and parents also delivered speeches, expressing their satisfaction and noting that the exhibition provided the students with an opportunity to develop their creative thinking and acquire skills in presenting their works.
