Family Center. Exhibition "Autumn in My City" in Khachkar Park in Gyumri

On October 17, in the Khachkar Park of Gyumri, the Children and Youth Creativity Center "Family" of the Ministry of Education and Culture of the Republic of Armenia organized an exhibition called "Autumn in My City" with the participation of students from painting, pottery and woodworking circles.
The purpose of the exhibition was to display the unique color scheme of the city in autumn tones, as well as to demonstrate the creative abilities and skills of the students.
The students prepared for the exhibition for a long time. In September, they studied the city's landmarks and historical and cultural sites, visited the Museum of Folk Architecture, Urban Life and National Architecture of Gyumri, the Gallery of Sisters Mariam and Yeranoi Aslamazyan, the Museum of Ova. Shiraz Memorial Museum. In the cultural centers, the teenagers studied the works of famous Gyumreans, got acquainted with the daily life, culture and history of Gyumri.
The exhibition was visited by teachers, students and artists of the center. Visitors and passers-by watched with great interest the students’ woodwork, clay work, painting and the process of depicting autumn scenes on site. The teenagers also involved passers-by and those interested in their work in an organized painting flash mob. The participants were impressed and enthusiastic. Visitors expressed their admiration for the students’ creative work.
