“Yntaniq” Center: Concert Entitled “A Tribute to Mothers”

On May 10, the “Yntaniq” Children and Youth Creative Center of the Ministry of Education and Science hosted a concert entitled “A Tribute to Mothers,” featuring students of the Center’s newly established wind instruments group.

The aim of the event was to showcase the students’ knowledge and performance skills, develop their stage culture, and provide them with performance experience.

The concert was also another opportunity to commemorate the glorious May victories, which marked a turning point for the Armenian people.

The repertoire included classical and popular works by renowned Armenian composers Arno Babajanyan, Konstantin Orbelyan, and Ara Gevorgyan, as well as folk songs arranged by Giorgi Dzamukashvili, Evgeny Martinov, and Alexey Shkalyar.

For the first time, the students of the wind ensemble had the opportunity to demonstrate their musical abilities and the knowledge they had acquired at the Center to the administration, teachers, and parents. Each piece they performed was impressive in both sound and execution. The combination of the duduk and wind ensemble in the performance of the folk song “Ov Sirun, Sirun” made a particularly strong impression on the audience.

At the end of the event, the Center’s director, Artur Minasyan, congratulated the conductor and students on their successful debut performance. He noted that such events are crowned with success because the participants spare no effort or energy in striving for excellence and have a promising future. He also emphasized that it is commendable that even newly established groups at the Center preserve the institution’s distinctive working tradition from the very beginning.

The audience also highly appreciated the results of the group’s creative work with enthusiastic applause.
