An Event Dedicated to the Feast of the Holy Resurrection at the “Yntaniq” Center

On April 18, the “Yntaniq” Children and Youth Creative Center of the Ministry of Education and Science of the Republic of Armenia held an event entitled “The Feast of the Holy Resurrection.”

The aim was to strengthen among the students an understanding of the Christian meaning and folk traditions associated with the feast, introduce those present to the religious celebration, and highlight the role and significance of the Armenian Apostolic Church.

The event was attended by Rev. Father Yeznik Galstyan, educators, parents, and students.

The event began with the priest’s blessing and his proclamation of the good news of the Feast of the Holy Resurrection:

“Christ is risen from the dead; blessed is the Resurrection of Christ.”

The Center’s students presented a dramatic reenactment of the Last Supper, portraying the establishment and spiritual meaning of the sacrament of Holy Communion by Jesus Christ.

During the event, hymns were performed, a scene from a film about Jesus Christ was shown, and the participants discussed the meaning of the Feast of the Holy Resurrection, the significance of each day of Holy Week, and the symbolism of Easter.

The festive atmosphere was completed with a traditional Easter egg competition, in which the Center’s youngest students took part.
