The Feast of the Presentation of Jesus to the Temple with partners

The Armenian Apostolic Church celebrates the Feast of the Presentation of Jesus to the Temple (Tearrendz) on February 14, commemorating the 40-day-old Jesus being presented to the Temple. The feast is also known as Trndez.

The Feast of the Presentation is an Old Tradition where newborns are presented to God on their 40th day, dedicating the child. On the day of the 40-day-old Jesus' presentation to the temple,old Simeon went to meet the Lord, and the feast became known as Tearrendz.(Տյառնընդառաջ)

On this occasion, the "Endanik" Children's and Youth Creative Center, upon invitation to cooperate, participated in a spiritual and cultural event organized by Gyumri's School No. 41 and School No. 11. The teenagers learned about the meaning of the feast through the explanation of Priest Varaga.

Afterward, the dance group of the "Endanik" Center performed national and folk dances, sharing the spiritual traditions of the holiday with the audience.

The celebrations around the Tearrendz bonfire concluded with a collective circle dance.
