Visit to "Radio Mariam"
As part of the program dedicated to International Radio Day, titled "Media and People," the students of the media literacy, creative journalism, etiquette, and speech mastery groups visited "Radio Mariam."
At the radio station, the students were introduced to media literacy, information dissemination, and operational news, the role of radio, its significance, features, and principles.
While touring the radio station’s studios, Director Ani Baghdasaryan and journalist-presenter Arshak Adamyan presented the ongoing work at the station.
The students were given the opportunity to use the sound control panel, record their voices, and edit mistakes on the spot.
For the students, the most important part was the process of live radio broadcasting, and their interests were satisfied through a live broadcast.
During the live broadcast, the students led a cultural and intimate conversation with the representatives of the "fourth estate," asking about the profession of radio journalism and the mission of radio. The hosts then continued the conversation with the center's artistic director and students, who shared their skills learned in the groups, their interests, and, of course, their impressions from the one-day radio tour.
