"Endanik on Wheels" educational and cultural program summary

On December 4 at “Endanik” SNCO Youth Creative Center of the Ministry of Education Science and Sport  of RA summed up the "Endanik on Wheels " educational and cultural program. For about 9 years, the “Endanik” Center has been successfully implementing a program aimed at the professional orientation of adolescents, to discover their own potential in the field of crafts and art, of course, the role of extracurricular education is used in all this. The key factors of the program are to strengthen the center-community cooperation through mutual visits, to strengthen the inter-community connection. Over the years, more than 5,000 educators, more than 10,000 teenagers from more than 100 rural communities in Shirak, Armavir, and Lori regions, as well as students from Javakhk and Artsakh educational and cultural institutions, have taken advantage of the "Family on Wheels" educational and cultural program. In the remote, high and border rural communities of Shirak region, clear steps have been taken to satisfy extracurricular activities, to express oneself in the field of national crafts and arts, and to support the professional orientation of gifted teenagers. In this year's program, from August to November, vocational guidance classes were held in 13 mountainous border communities of Shirak region, in educational and cultural institutions of Javakhk. After the 44-day war, the teenagers who were displaced from Artsakh and took refuge in the Shirak region the trainings were organized for them at “Endanik”Center. The program includes pedagogues of communities and educational institutions, the latter are given the opportunity to get acquainted with the organization of extracurricular education through master classes, participate in theoretical-practical courses, be ready to discover the preferred professions in their own communities, organize teenagers' education. Vocational orientation lessons were interesting for the teenagers living in the community, they discovered their own abilities and potential based on their preferences. The program creates the best opportunity and platform for the students of the center to transfer their professional knowledge and experience to their peers. The students of secondary schools of the communities cooperating with the program also made joint speeches with the students of the center at the final event of the program. The headmaster of the “Endanik”Center, Arthur Minasyan, handed over certificates of participation to the educators participating in the courses, letters of thanks to the cooperating organizations, and diplomas to the active participants. The community teenagers and teenagers from Artsakh who took refuge in Shirak region, concluded this year's "Endanik on Wheels" educational and cultural program with an impressive cultural visit to Mher Mkrtchyan Museum, Hovhannes Shiraz House-Museum, Aslamazyan Sisters Gallery, Modern Art Museum of Armenia, Matenadaran and Oshakan.
