On October 13th Gyumri breathed with festive enthusiasm, as it was the day of the “Festival of Gyumri”.
The first cord of the event sounded in the yard of the “Endanik” youth creative center, where we can hear songs with the soul of Sheram and also we can see bold dance in style of Shaboyan
“Endanik” youth creative center is a place, where national traditions and customs have their strict role and where everything is done for maintenance and enrichment of national thinking.
Social, political, cultural figures, sacred officials and many other people visited the center. The people of Gyumri greeted the guests with soil and bread and zurna dhol, which is the characteristic music of Armenians. There were song and music, delight and joy everywhere.
The festival of Gyumri was continued in the yard of the museum of the National architecture and urban living, where the”Festival of bread” and the screening of traditional living took place.
The bred as a sacramental creation of Armenians, found its reverberation in diverse handmade works of the pupils of the “Endanik” youth creative center, glorifying the symbol of the day, the national traditions, culture and rites.
Gyumri with its traditional etiquette, comely arts and crafts is one of the beloved towns of the Armenians, the pride of the inhabitants of the Shirak region.
