Pedagogues and students of "Endanik" Youth Creative Center of the Ministry of Education and Science visited the Samtskhe-Javakheti region of the Republic of Georgia on April 14-16 within the framework of the educational program "Endanik on the Wheels''. In Akhaltsikhe, Akhalkalaki and Ninotsminda youth educational and cultural centers, courses on "Professional Orientation" were held on different branches of craft and arts.
At the educational and cultural institutions of Javakheti, the employees of "Endanik" center and the students were greeted with great pleasure.
The students enthusiastically participated in their preferred educational and vocational classes, exchange of knowledge and experience.
The lessons taught were also of thematic nature. painting, pottery, stained glass painting and other works by which the students reflected the heroic episodes of history, expressing their ideas about the May heroic battles.
At the end of the trainings, the students of centers presented their creative works, which were highly appreciated by parents and pedagogical community. "We are very impressed with "Endanik "center's visit. My child took part in painting class. I would like to organize such meetings very often, " shared with her impressions Lena Hakobyan, parent of Armenian Youth Center in Akhalkalaki.
For active participatation in professional orientation classes, the students of the educational and cultural institutions were encouraged by "Endanik" center with diplomas. The event ended with a folk song and a joint dance.
S. Petrosyan, the Deputy Director of "Endanik" Center, expressed her gratitude to Karine Tadevosyan, Chairperson of the Board of the Armenian Relief Society of Georgia and the Youth Center staff, for cooperation, and for having a great role in upbringing of Javakheti teenagers.
A seminar and round-table discussions were held in Akhalkalak Youth Educational Cultural Center on the 100th anniversary of the Republic of Armenia and on May battles and the 2800th anniversary of the establishment of Yerevan as well as the peculiarities of Armenian culture. And in the city of Ninotsminda, the students of the center took part in organized sports hall and met with members of the local "Junior Union".
"The program is up to date. I express our gratitude to the management of "Endanik" center and all the staff. This cooperation gives its effect. I like this multifaceted "Endanik" has become one of the countless children's "family", including Javakhk children. Such joint programs are called for the preservation of the Armenian identity, the creation of a free, independent, united Armenia, "Mrs. Tadevosyan mentioned in her speech.
Within the framework of the program, the employees and adolescents of "Endanik" center and Javakhk educational and cultural centers made acquaintance visits to S. Vardanants of Akhaltskh, S. Khach churches of Akhalkalak, fortress of Tamara and Vahan Teryan house-museum.
As a result of the project friendly relations between Gyumri and Javakhk teenagers were strengthened and both sides appreciated the preservation and dissemination of national cultural value.
