On December 3, a simultaneous session of a chess game entitled "Sport for Equal Opportunities" was held at "Endanik" SNCO center. The aim of the event was to present the biographies of the world chess champions, famous Armenian chess players, to involve teenagers with disabilities in the chess game, to provide equal opportunities. The gifted students of different age groups of the chess club of the center took part in the game. Deputy Director of the Center S. Petrosyan,head of the artistic department H. Sargsyan greeted the participants, wishing them success, an unbreakable struggle and a victorious game. Before the start of the session, the students showed on the board, analyzed a small part of the games played by Tigran Petrosyan, presented the role and significance of each piece in a chess game. The session was held by chess group leader K. Manukyan, who at first presented the rules of the game, mentioning that it was a great experience to play a simultaneous session.
From the first minutes of the start, the chess players used their chess knowledge and tricks to try to win with sports perseverance.
23 participants had the opportunity to show their chess skills, 2 of which - Rubik Madoyan and Davit Mndlyan - ended the game in a draw as a result of a persistent struggle.
The simultaneous session of the game gave the participants an opportunity to express themselves, to orient themselves correctly in difficult situations, to show high quality features.
