"Independence is the highest value that peoples and nations win at the price of struggle and blood. Thanks to independent statehood, it is possible to preserve one's identity, national values, and educate generations ready to stand up for that independence."
The artistic event entitled "The Price of Independence" began with the RA national anthem and a minute of silence in memory of the Armenian brave men who sacrificed their lives for the defense of the motherland. One of the important preconditions of statehood is national education. With this mission, the students, through their artistic performances, valued the price of independence gained by the collective efforts of the people, highlighting the idea of having a free and independent homeland.
With patriotic dedication, the students performed the best works of national and folk song art, which express the victorious spirit of the Armenian people and the awareness of living and creating in their own homeland. Unity, solidarity, and national consensus are the keys to maintaining statehood.
At the event, Sanasar Manukyan, who was declared the vice-champion of the Kyokushinkai Karate Junior World Championship held in Astana, the capital of Kazakhstan, along with the students who showed the best results—Vigen Ghalachyan and Yuri Kromov—were awarded certificates.
Sargis Vardanyan, head of the martial arts group, was also awarded a letter of thanks for the excellent preparation of the students and for representing Armenia with honor.
The artistic event concluded with a message of peace.
