From March 13 to 24, in Gyumri’s Chess School after Tigran Petrosian was held a spring qualifying tournament for the beginners 4th and 3rd class, 23 participants took part from the center's chess group. Around 106 participants from various educational institutions, sport schools were competing to provide the best results. The tournament aimed to develop young chess players’ athletic skills, to improve their skills. The tournament was held in the Swiss rounds.
Each of the participants, showed his knowledge and willing qualities, flexibility of thought, the ability of quick reacting, to achieve the desired result. There was tense and persistent struggle at the chess school. As a result, the students of "Endanik’’ Center Ashot Koghpetsyan took 1st place, Ashot Nazaryan - 3rd place, who filled in the 4th class training and were awarded certificates. Twenty three participants from the centre is filled with new sports 4th class.
