Gyumri’s “Endanik” Youth Creative Centre of the Ministry of Education and Science of the RA by enlarging the frame of its activities has founded arts and crafts professional teaching groups in seven rural communities of Shirak Region and carries out different events there. On November 9, 10 in two high mountainous villages of Shirak Region – Tsoghamarg and Torosgyugh again was held the exhibition of “Endanik” centre’s painting group children entitled “We are our mountains”. The teenagers’ expressed their painting knowledge and obtained abilities in their thematic works. At the exhibition were present “Endanik” Centre’s director Arthur Minasyan, the director of Tsoghamarg’s school Arshak Arshakyan, the director of Thorosgyugh’s school Garik Hakobyan, as well as painters, teachers, local residents and pupils. The exhibited works were distinguished by the unique approach and characteristic feature of the children. In the creative works was reflected the beauty of the native nature and national values, vivid and bright colours of Saryan, the own feelings and thinking of the youth concerning the theme. The presents expressed their admiration and evaluation concerning the unique works done by the children. The director of the centre highly evaluated the work done by the children and wished them new creative achievements. He exhorted them to develop their intellectual development level, to study much and to go on creating new art works. The parents and the directors of the schools expressed their thanks and gratitude to the administration of the centre. They expressed their contentment for providing extracurricular education to the youth living in the villages, for contributing to the activation of cultural life in the rural communities, for organizing the free time of the children purposefully, and for giving the youth an opportunity for self expression and the chance to be able to evaluate their own abilities distinctly.
