Contest topic:
Works characteristic of Gyumri's color
Purpose and objects of the competition
- To develop the creative mind and abilities of the participants
- To present the unique color of Gyumri through creative works
- Increase interest in craft and arts specific to the city
- Discover the creative potential of gifted teenagers
- Increase the role of extracurricular education
Works of the following fields can be submitted to the competition:
- Painting
- Decorative-applied art
- Radio electronics
Works can be individual or group.
Contestants:
Teenagers aged 6-18 can participate in the competition.
Contestants will be classified in the following age groups:
- 6-9 years old,
- 10-13 years old,
- 14-18 years old.
Terms of submission of works
When sending or presenting works, it is necessary to indicate:
- author's name, surname,
- the title of the work,
- age /data of participants in case of group work/,
- educational institution,
- the name and surname of the teaching pedagogue,
- email address, phone number,
- residential address.
Procedure for conducting and evaluating the competition
By August 31, the professional committee will summarize the results of the competition and determine the prize works from the mentioned fields.
During the evaluation of the works, preference will be given to the originality, quality and creative approach of the artistic execution of the idea.
The deadline for submission of works is August 28 at 18:00 inclusive.
Technical requirements for works
Pictures must be A2 (420x594 mm) or A3 (297x420 mm) in size.
There are no special requirements regarding the formats of works of decorative-applied art, radio electronics.
Works can be done using any branch of fine art and any material: watercolor, gouache, acrylic, charcoal, metal, clay, wood, etc.
Rewards:
The authors of the creative works that won prizes in the above-mentioned fields in each age group will be awarded with certificates.
Prize-winning works will be shown at the city event dedicated to Gyumri Day, at "Endanik" and Javakhk educational and cultural institutions
